“The NBA offseason has officially arrived — though, in reality, it’s been underway for a while now.”

Kevin Durant has already been dealt to Houston. The New York Knicks are in search of a new head coach. Cooper Flagg is poised to be the top selection in the upcoming draft. Expansion efforts are expected to gain major traction in the coming weeks. And the Los Angeles Lakers just changed ownership.

The NBA offseason is now officially underway — though, truthfully, it’s been in motion for weeks.

While Oklahoma City celebrates its championship with a parade on Tuesday, the rest of the league is preparing for a different kind of march: a flurry of trades, signings, and shakeups aimed at closing the gap with the Thunder — and in many cases, it’s already begun.
