Chrysler is voluntarily recalling certain 2022-2025 Pacifica and Voyager vehicles to replace side curtain airbags if needed.
The recall affects approximately 250,651 vehicles and is due to some side curtain airbags potentially failing to maintain adequate pressure during deployment, which could increase the risk to passengers in certain crash scenarios, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The issue stems from improperly sealed seams. Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the airbags at no cost to the owners.
Chrysler’s parent company stated it is not aware of any injuries or accidents linked to this issue but encourages customers to promptly follow the instructions provided in their recall notices.
