“Love Island USA” is set to crown its Season 7 champions Sunday night, wrapping up a rollercoaster summer marked by dramatic breakups and surprise departures.
The finale airs on Peacock at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET, capping off a highly watched season that began June 3. Set in a remote villa in Fiji, the show brings together young singles searching for love—and navigating plenty of chaos along the way.
As the U.S. adaptation of the hit British series, “Love Island USA” has made waves in the reality TV world, becoming Peacock’s most-streamed entertainment show on mobile, according to NBCUniversal.
The latest season follows a breakout sixth season that propelled the franchise into the mainstream. A new spinoff, Love Island: Beyond the Villa, also premieres Sunday, following Season 6 favorites as they adjust to fame and romance in Los Angeles.
Still, the season hasn’t been without controversy. Two contestants, Cierra Ortega and Yulissa Escobar, exited the villa after past social media posts containing racial slurs resurfaced. Ortega, who had been in one of the show’s strongest couples, departed just a week before the finale. She later addressed the backlash and apologized in a TikTok video posted Wednesday.
